“Tsering Hannaford was invited by ArtCircleResidence – Europe Connect to spend a 2 week residency programme in Vizinada, Croatia to connect to artists in Europe and experience the beautiful landscape and pituresque Istrian Villages. During her residency she also attended the Venice Biennale, visiting the Australian Pavilion and other exhibitions.

As part of the residency, Australian, German, Slovene and Croatian artists and community leaders in the art field came together to connect and discuss the future, share ideas, and give support. Event attendees included Ante Potočnjak, art director of Zagreb Art Fair and painter, Dr. Darja Zmak-Kunic, Professor and artist an Rijeka University, Faculty of Art, and Maša Gala, artist and organizer of Art Circle Slovenija which is cooperating with German artists in joint activities.”
